A town house development with two substantial four bedroom homes on the one block.

The owners were first time developers, so we were able to help them through the process from start to finish.

With four young children, the family wanted open plan living in the family area plus a master bedroom retreat for the parents.

Clever detailing such as corrugated roofing, shallow pitches and weatherboard cladding were essential in retaining the beach feel of the neighbourhood.

Construction challenges included driven piling to 6m depths, conventional framing elements and inlay tiling.
