Custom Home Builders Middle Park

With a modest sized footprint, ‘Croydon’ challenged Rob Kennon Architects and APC Build to preserve its existing double storey roof and brick structure while re-building and extending the existing home.

The design and build included a considered balance between retaining the heritage features of the property while cohesively extending the home to create a new contemporary open plan living/dining and kitchen space.

The build includes bold 3.6m high windows that flood the new home with natural light. The recessed fire place unit is surrounded with clean lines of bespoke joinery which travel from floor to ceiling. The custom height doors and concealed jamb detailing extend the ceilings visually to a greater feeling of luxury and space. The infinite 4m long Corian kitchen bench top creates the spine of the development and the heart of the new home.

Where old meets new.
